The Supreme Court Collegium has suggested judicial appointments for the Bombay, Madras, and Patna High Courts.

On February 20, 2025, the Supreme Court Collegium met and decided to recommend several judicial appointments in different High Courts. They suggested confirming three additional judges from the Bombay High Court as permanent judges: Justice Shailesh Pramod Brahme, Justice Firdosh Phiroze Pooniwalla, and Justice Jitendra Shantilal Jain.
The Collegium also recommended extending the term of Justice Manjusha Ajay Deshpande, an additional judge at the Bombay High Court, for another year. Additionally, they proposed confirming four additional judges at the Madras High Court as permanent judges: Justice Ramasamy Sakthivel, Justice P Dhanabal, Justice Chinnasamy Kumarappan, and Justice Kandasamy Rajasekar.
Furthermore, the Collegium recommended the appointment of five advocates to the Patna High Court: Alok Kumar Sinha, Ritesh Kumar, Soni Shrivastava, Sourendra Pandey, and Ansul @ Anshul Raj. All these recommendations were made during the same meeting on February 20, 2025.
